My name is Sammie, and I am reaching out for help as I navigate a very challenging chapter in my life. Five years ago, my health took a turn that forced me out of work, and since then, the medical bills have continued to pile up. I require at-home tube feeding and a variety of medications just to get through each day. The financial burden has become overwhelming, and I am struggling to keep up with the costs of my care.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my TPN (total parenteral nutrition) costs, which is my lifeline and only source of nutrition. They will also help cover the expenses of ongoing doctor visits and necessary hospital stays. Managing my health is a full-time job, and every bit of support will help me continue to receive the care I need to maintain as much of a normal life as possible.

This journey has been incredibly long and difficult. I began with a kidney auto transplant, along with an ovarian and renal vein transposition. On top of that, I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which has severely impacted my digestive system. I rely on TPN to survive, and my medical care is essential for my well-being. I am deeply grateful for any support—whether it is a donation, a kind thought, or help for my child and family. update : thank you to grant and vine I am home. This incredible company paid the nearly 3000 I needed to get my supplies and get me out. I am incredibly overwhelmed with gratitude for the support everyone has given. Half the battle is over. I am home. I’m excited to continue my feeds and medicine in the comfort of my own home, as well as begin a new job at the 911 center just next week!
