Dear friends,
My name is Valentina Leonardi, and I am reaching out from Rome, Italy.
I set up this fundraiser on behalf of
Ahmed Samer Arjeela, a 22 years old Palestinians who has been able to evacuate from Gaza, but whose family is still living in a dire and unimaginable situation, constantly in fear of bombs, lack of food and multiple forced displacements.
Ahmed fled hoping to help his family to evacuate and finding a job in Europe.
But, unfortunately, he is in a refugee center in Germany (he is waiting for his asylum application), and the border has been closed.
So this fundraiser’s aim is to support them financially to secure safe food, water, medicine and essential supplies.
His family consists of 9 people: his parents, Samer and Manal, 6 brothers (Zain 2years, Rayan 9, Habibullah 11, Hamid, 15, Mahmoud 16 and Mohammed 18) and one sister Jinan of 13 years old.
Their home has been destroyed. His father is a neurological patient and he has some problems to walk. His family has been forced to move several times looking for a safe place.
Each time they moved, they lost their belongings and they had to buy new tents.
Your support means everything.
It is what allows them to survive.
Aids projects are not enough for the whole population and not able to reach some areas.
Collected funds are sent through bank transfers and I m able to show you all the proofs of transfer.
We have to fight and raise our voice against injustice and ethnic cleansing who is occurring in front of our eyes in Palestine, but we can’t forget that those families are in urgent needs of help, literally, to survive.

Hello, my name is Sami Ahmed, I am 22 years old, from Gaza. My family consists of ten people: my mother Manal, my father Samer, one sister, and seven brothers. Among the brothers are three younger brothers who need care, and my father is a neurological patient before the war. We lived happily in our house and neighborhood in Khuza’a area until the war came and demolished everything, and it was destroyed. My family of ten people sleep in a small tent in Al-Mawasi refugee camp.
I need your help for my family and to evacuate them safely in Egypt.
The process of evacuation is extremely costly, and the company that facilitates the necessary military approvals and transport is currently charging $5,500 USD per person over 16, and $2,700 USD per child.
