Samir is een jongen uit het bergdorp Beni Arouss in Marokko. Door een ernstig ongeluk met een elektrische draad kreeg hij een zware stroomstoot. De artsen zagen geen andere mogelijkheid dan beide armen te amputeren om zijn leven te redden.

Sindsdien kan Samir niets meer zelfstandig doen. Hij mist zijn dagelijkse werk in de natuur, zijn bijdrage in het gezin en zijn vrijheid. Zijn familie leeft in armoede en heeft geen toegang tot de medische zorg, protheses of therapie die hij zo hard nodig heeft.

Wij willen Samir helpen aan medische zorg, revalidatie en hopelijke protheses, zodat hij weer een stukje zelfstandigheid terugkrijgt.

Met jouw hulp kan hij opnieuw hoop krijgen op een betere toekomst.

Samir is a young boy from the mountain village of Beni Arouss in Morocco. Due to a serious accident with an electric wire, he suffered a severe electric shock. The doctors saw no other option than to amputate both of his arms in order to save his life.

Since then, Samir has not been able to do anything independently. He misses his daily work in nature, his contribution to the family, and his freedom. His family lives in poverty and has no access to the medical care, prosthetics, or therapy that he so urgently needs.

We want to help Samir with medical care, rehabilitation, and hopefully prosthetics, so that he can regain some independence. With your support, he can once again have hope for a better future.

Every contribution, big or small, helps Samir move forward.

سمير شاب من قرية جبلية تُسمى بني عروس في المغرب. بسبب حادث خطير مع سلك كهربائي، تعرّض لصدمة كهربائية قوية. لم يجد الأطباء أي خيار آخر سوى بتر ذراعيه الاثنتين لإنقاذ حياته.

منذ ذلك الحين لم يعد سمير قادرًا على القيام بأي عمل بنفسه. يفتقد عمله اليومي في الطبيعة، ومساهمته في أسرته، وحريته. تعيش عائلته في فقر ولا تملك وسيلة للوصول إلى الرعاية الطبية أو الأطراف الصناعية أو العلاج الذي يحتاجه بشدة.

نحن نرغب في مساعدة سمير للحصول على الرعاية الطبية وإعادة التأهيل وربما الأطراف الصناعية، حتى يتمكن من استعادة جزء من استقلاليته.
