Help Sami Save Toby: Urgent Medical Funds Needed

Firstly, thank you so, so much for visiting this page. I wish that I could express to you just how much that truly means to me.

My name is Sami, and I have a sweet dog named Toby. He is 10 and a half years old and has been dealing with epilepsy for 7.5 years. Lately, he has been having an increasing ALT liver value, and my vet wants to do an ultrasound to see what is going on. Toby is on Phenobarbital, Keppra XR, Zonisamide, and Pregabalin to control his seizures. He is also dealing with arthritis now and takes supplements for that. Since September, he has additionally been taking a liver protectant supplement to cleanse his liver, which was recommended by our vet, but that did not help his liver levels decrease as his blood test showed from yesterday, Oct. 13th.

I am struggling as I write this because I am very, very scared. My Toby is the love of my life; he’s the light of my life, and I’m having an increasingly hard time affording the things that he requires. He is perfectly fine except for occasional joint pain from his arthritis and has been seizure-free since late March of this year. He acts normal and plays normal. He seeks attention and wants love and walks. He loves getting treats. I cannot lose him. I have told him since his first diagnosis of epilepsy 7.5 years ago that I will fight for him as long as he is willing and able to fight for himself, and he is.

The battle I have now is financing these tests. I know that times are tough for everyone, but if there’s any way possible that you could give even a small donation, that would truly go a LONG way to help. I promise he is worth it.
