Hello everyone! My name is Sami - I am a trans woman living in Texas, but thankfully not for much longer!

I JUST got a new job in Boulder, Colorado with an expanding community church and I am due to start on May 4, 2026. The unfortunate piece of this puzzle is that my new employer cannot cover moving expenses. This is my best opportunity to leave Texas and start living in a significantly safer state & environment while being able to serve a local community that desires my presence.

The short time frame means I need to raise moving funds very quickly. Here is a breakdown of my estimated needs:

$1,764 - Fee to break my current lease in Texas (confirmed)

$3,528 - 2 months of rent due upon lease breaking (unconfirmed as of April 12)

$2,500 - Moving service from Texas to Colorado (confirmed)

$500 - Security deposit for new home (confirmed)

$130 - Gas needed to drive from Texas to Colorado (national gas average x [mileage to drive / mpg of my vehicle])

I know this is a lot of money and I really don't like asking for it. I would rather be raising support for others than myself. At this point in time, I know I cannot do this alone, so that's where you can come in and help me out.
