I’m reaching out because I need help catching up on urgent expenses after a very difficult few months. In April, I lost my job at a hospital. In May, I joined an existing private practice in psychotherapy. I’m proud of the work I’m building, but it took a couple of months for my caseload to grow, and during that time my income was not enough to keep up. I fell behind on rent, utilities, and other bills, and the stress of trying to stay afloat has been overwhelming.

As if that transition was not hard enough, both my old laptop and my car of 10 years stopped working and had to be replaced. Those were major unexpected expenses at a time when I was already stretched thin. Right now, these funds will help me catch up on the bills that cannot wait, regain some financial stability, and get set up for success moving forward as my practice continues to grow.
