My name is usaamah, I’m fundraising for my stepdad, samba who’s worked hard his whole life and made a clean living.

He moved from his home land Senegal and started working hard in the UK to support his family back home, never resorted to making dirty money like most would do.

He worked as a barista in cafe Nero and costa for years and is well known by many in Reading as a nice and lovely man, with a genuine heart.

After years of working and saving his clean hard earned money, he decided to open up his own business as many don’t wish to work for someone else for the rest of their life they want to work for their own self in this world and be their own boss.

Samba has had his business which is called, Originally called Mista lova lova, serving a range of lovely halal food, from burger meals, jollof rice and donner and much more, recently changed name to Sambas kitchen, for years now and has been so happy, he opened up his food van after paying for his trading license and buying the van and the stock for it, after working everything out, and made his dream come true.

He’s been such a happy man ever since making his own living and providing for his family, he’s such a humble and genuine man most of his earnings he would spend on his family, others and charity, he was never greedy or selfish to keep the money he made for himself even though he well deserved it.

Sadly up until now, Sunday 3:40am a black Kia car parked next to his van, and then immediately broken into, on the cctv footage we received from the garage men that work on the same road as his van, the registration plate is too blurry to even read due to the lamppost light reflecting onto it, so there’s no way of tracking down this evil and desperate culprit who has caused this, his van has been smashed and broken into by whoever was possibly looking for money that they thought was being kept in the van after it being locked up, broken into by possibly a drug addict or someone who has grown hate into sambas business to the extent they would go out their way and damage the dream he built for himself, the repairs for the damage is very costy.

He’s still smiling but deep down I can see how hurt he is all them years of hard work just ruined and come to a stop.

The Police aren’t helpful at all towards finding those responsible for this so there’s not much really to do now apart from resorting to fundraising for him.

Im asking whoever can help him get back on his feet please to donate whatever you can as little as £1 or even share this to as much people as you can would be charity InshaAllah, if will help a lot and it would mean the world to him to know that he can start fresh again after all those years of hard work.
