What was meant to be the beginning of a beautiful chapter has now been literally torn apart for young couple Samara Bennett and Levi Crutch.

After working tirelessly and saving for years, Samara and Levi took the leap to start their dream life together in the peaceful coastal town of South West Rocks, five hours from their family and support network in Sydney. They poured their hearts into building a future in their new home — a symbol of hope, independence, and love.

But on Saturday, their dream was ripped away in a matter of seconds.

A powerful windstorm tore through the area, ripping the roof off their home and launching it across the street. In its path, it damaged everything — their house, neighbouring properties, power lines and vehicles. Thankfully, Samara and Levi were not injured, but they are now facing the unimaginable: the possibility of losing their home and starting all over again.
