Samar is a 28-year-old Palestinian from Northern Gaza.

Samar and her family have been besieged in Northern Gaza since the beginning of the War. Tragically, Samar's father and three brothers - Baraa, Ahmed, and Muhammad - were victims of a deadly ambush while attempting to retrieve food from their car in a nearby area they believed to be safe. The occupation forces opened fire on them, followed by a devastating airstrike that obliterated their vehicle.

Now, Samar finds herself responsible for her family of 8, struggling to provide for their basic needs amidst the chaos in Northern Gaza. Every day, the struggle to secure necessities becomes increasingly hard. Most of the time, they can't find food to eat and her younger siblings have lost much weight. Forced to resort to mulberry leaves when lacking food, Samar and her family face the horrors of man-caused famine.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to collect donations for them to get supplies that guarantee their basic survival needs. As international aid is being halted from entering Northern Gaza, the inflation of the products is way too high for basic products such as meds, winter clothes and food. This is when you can find any.

Together, we can make a difference, standing in solidarity with the resilient souls of Gaza in their struggle for survival. Recently, Samar and her family managed to evacuate to the South and are now in UNRWA tents, in Rafah.
