update: May 5th, house caught on fire again this morning and damaged everything else we though we could salvage. We also found out that we arent able to contact our landlord, his number is diconnected, and wont respond to emails and the housing authority was able to dig up some weird situations about him, we dont know who owns the home and we dont know if he is even in contact with the owners. The name he gave housing doesnt exist except on a grave, the address he gave for them doesnt belong to them, and also the number he gave them was housings front desk contact number. So lets add on to the crazyness. Thank you for everyone so far that has helped we absolutely appreciate everythibg and are extremely greatful. I am just very blessed that my family and fur family were able to be together under one roof safe. On May 4th, my family and I experienced a devastating house fire that changed our lives overnight. Myself, my five kids, two dogs, and one cat managed to escape safely, but we lost nearly everything we owned. We were able to grab just a few clothes and some precious memorabilia, but our home is no longer livable. I am so grateful that everyone, including our pets, made it out unharmed. That is what I can be thankful for in the midst of so much loss.

Now, we are facing the challenge of starting over. We need help with temporary housing, food, clothes, and basic essentials to get through each day. The uncertainty is overwhelming, and I am especially worried about my kids and how this will affect them. Any support, no matter how small, will make a huge difference as we try to rebuild and find a new place to call home.
