Hello, my name is Samantha Nicholson-Brown. I am raising funds to do a total knee replacement surgery.

On May 24, 2025, my life changed unexpectedly. I slipped while stepping out of my bathroom shower and fell. What seemed like a simple accident turned into a medical emergency. At the hospital, an X-ray confirmed that my knee was broken — but it also revealed something far more serious. A giant tumor had been silently growing in my distal femur, destroying the bone from the inside.

On July 28, I underwent surgery to remove the tumor and the damaged bone. The surgeon filled the space with bone cement to stabilize my leg. Unfortunately, the tumor caused severe and irreversible damage, leaving my knee far beyond natural repair. I now need a Total Knee Replacement surgery, which is the only path for me to walk again normally, return to my daily life, and keep caring for my two amazing toddler daughters.

This surgery is extremely expensive, and I am unable to afford the cost on my own. That is why I am humbly reaching out for help.

In life, disappointments happen — but sometimes blessings are hidden within them. I believe that breaking my knee allowed the tumor to be discovered before it spread further. For that, I am grateful.
