Help Samantha Save Aleia's Life

Hi friends!! My name's Marissa! I am a barista who works at Gourmet Latte, and have the pleasure of working with one of my best friends, Samantha!

If you know Samantha Morales, you know she's the most kindhearted, selfless, caring, funniest woman alive! You would also know that she's had a tough year, and every time she turns her head, it seems there's a new obstacle she has to face. She is the biggest animal lover and the best mama to her fur babies!

On Halloween night, she came home from trick-or-treating and noticed right away that her German Shepherd, Aleia, was acting weird. She was panting, pacing, and breathing so hard. She went with her gut and drove her to the Lynnwood Veterinary Hospital to get seen ASAP.

Thank goodness she did! Aleia was having a pneumothorax; meaning her lungs were being filled with gas/air and was just seconds away from losing her life.

Samantha is one of my best friends and she is a single mother who deserves a break.

I'm organizing this GoFundMe to hopefully help cover the cost of these unexpected expenses and the future costs of any treatment that could be life-saving. Aleia is one of Sammie's babies, and it is heartbreaking to justify taking the life of an animal that has so much life left to live due to financial restraints.

-2,400.00 - life saving measures from night of 10/31.

-$3,600.00 - Aleia was transferred to a Specialty Hospital 11/1. She got blood work/ CT Scan to determine if she needs surgery or a tube placed.

-CT Scan came back showing Aleia needs a thoracotomy, which is estimating at about $9,000.00-$11,000.00 on top of the costs above.

Aleia NEEDS this surgery, and I know Samantha would appreciate from the bottom of her heart if we could help save Aleia's life.
