My 2014 Passat, which I've relied on for the past year, recently suffered a sudden engine breakdown and is now sitting at the auto shop, completely undrivable. Starting Monday, getting to work will become extremely difficult, as my usual 10-minute drive will turn into a long bus ride with a lot of walking, or expensive rideshare trips. With my POTS symptoms and a knee injury, these alternatives are not just inconvenient—they will be physically challenging and unsustainable.

Losing my car will put my job at risk and make it nearly impossible to manage my daily responsibilities. I was in the process of searching for a second job to help balance my finances and catch up on bills, but without reliable transportation, those plans will be on hold. Having my car back would not only allow me to keep my current job, but also pursue additional work and afford a gym membership with a pool nearby, which is essential for stabilizing my knee and managing my health.
