Help Samantha Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our daughter Samantha Scheiner had to come to the realization that she has lost everything (lost her car and all of her personal belongings in her home). She has worked so hard for the last 7 years building her life in St. Petersburg, FL.
Hurricane Helene brought over 4 1/2 feet of water into Samantha's home that she shared with her two roommates. In order to escape the floodwaters in their home, they sat on the roofs of their vehicles for approximately 12 hours. Until daylight came and the water receded some, they then waded through waist-deep water to get to dry land.
We are so grateful that Samantha is safe now and are humbly asking for any type of assistance in helping her get back on her feet. Any donation is helpful. Please also keep her in your prayers as this has been mentally taxing on her as well.
We were able to help her save some of her clothes, but that is all! Everything else was not salvageable.
I am Samantha’s mom and my goal is to help her get back on her feet and return to St. Pete with her two roommates (just farther inland). All funds will be used to help Samantha.
