Help Sam on Her Road to Recovery

Hi everyone! We are starting this fundraiser for someone who is not only our coworker and mentor, but most of all- our friend who we consider family, Samantha Greene (far left in photo).

Sam has dedicated her life to serving her community as a first responder, always putting others before herself. Over the years, her selfless commitment has seen her rush into dangerous situations to save lives, often working long hours in stressful and physically demanding conditions. Whether responding to accidents, providing critical care in emergencies, or educating and mentoring, Sam has consistently demonstrated courage and dedication to saving lives. Unfortunately, Sam’s health has recently taken a turn for the worse, and she is now facing serious medical challenges that require ongoing treatment and care. Sam was recently hospitalized for quite some time which resulted in finding a rare fungal infection in her lungs called pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP), which targets people with compromised immune systems and unfortunately her immune system was found to be almost nonexistent. Now, as she faces a long and uncertain recovery, she is unable to work and provide for her and her daughter in the way she once did. We are reaching out to our community to help raise funds to support Sam during this difficult time, ensuring that she can focus on her recovery without the added burden of financial strain. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference and show our gratitude for her years of service.
