Hi, my name is Samantha Stallworth and I am trying to raise money because about 2 months ago I was fired from my job at AJ's Fine Foods. Since then, I have probably submitted over 200 applications everywhere and anywhere. I'll be honest, it was my fault for losing my job; I should have been more responsible. I've been to countless interviews, but I haven't been able to procure a job yet, and I think it's because as of September 2024, I am now a felon. I was addicted to drugs and running the streets for a very long time, and during that time, I caught a possession charge. Now, years later, they are bringing it up in court. I got sober on September 8th, 2023, and I've been sober since then. I am paying the consequences for something I did when I wasn't even myself. I've held a steady job since I got sober, up until 2 months ago.

I had just signed a new lease, and it's the first place I've been able to call my home in 15-20 years. I'm in danger of losing my home though and ending back on the streets, and it scares me because I honestly don't want to end up on drugs again. I have more interviews lined up but as of right now, I won't have my rent. I just need a little bit of help from anyone, please? with this months rent and a few bills I have fallen behind on, because if I keep applying and sending out my resume, I feel confident I will find a job. I will be posting updates on interviews and a photo of my certificate from when I successfully completed rehab. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
