Help Samantha Honor Voodoo’s Life and Final Fight

Samantha Jackson has spent years quietly helping animals in need. She’s adopted the overlooked ones — the seniors, the sick, the quirky misfits — and given them lives full of love, warmth, and comfort. Her home has always been a sanctuary, and her heart has always been open.

One of the brightest lights in her world was Voodoo, a bold and beautiful cat full of personality. Sweet, sassy, and determined, Voodoo defied the odds more than once. She was scheduled to begin chemotherapy when she suddenly became critically ill. Thanks to an early morning emergency trip, Samantha was able to rush her to the vet and buy her a little more time — time filled with love, cuddles, and hope.

Unfortunately, Voodoo’s body couldn’t keep fighting. She passed away this week after a valiant battle. The final emergency hospitalization and care came with a cost of $9,400 — an amount no loving pet parent is truly prepared for.

Samantha has never asked for anything in return for all the help she’s given others — driving cats across town, showing up in a crisis, opening her home to the ones no one else would take. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
