Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for someone truly special — my friend, colleague, and fellow teacher, Samantha Stephens. This summer, Samantha underwent a complete liver transplant and is currently in recovery at Tampa General Hospital. The surgery was a major one, and her road to healing will be long, challenging, and expensive.

Samantha has been a dedicated teacher for 4 years in Hernando County, pouring her heart into her students and community every single day. Anyone who knows her knows how much she gives — not just as an educator and coach, but as a friend, a mentor, and most importantly, a loving single mother of 4 beautiful children.

Despite everything she’s been through, Samantha’s strength, optimism, and resilience are nothing short of inspiring. But even the strongest among us need a hand sometimes. As she focuses on recovery, she’s unable to work, and the medical bills, travel costs, and daily expenses are adding up fast — all while trying to maintain stability for her kids.

I created this GoFundMe to help ease that burden. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Samantha’s recovery and supporting her family during this critical time. Whether it's a small donation or simply sharing this campaign with others, your help can make a real difference.
