Hi, my name is Samantha, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. In June, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Not long after, I learned it had metastasized and spread to my bones. Hearing the words “stage IV” changed everything. Life suddenly became a series of doctor visits, scans, treatments, and fear—fear of pain, fear of the unknown, and most of all, fear of not being here long enough for my daughter. I am a mom to a beautiful 3-year-old little girl who is my entire world. Every day, she is my reason to keep going. I want to watch her grow up, go to school, laugh, dream, and know how deeply she is loved by her mom.
I am currently undergoing medical treatment, but I am also seeking complementary and alternative therapies that focus on non-toxic, whole-body healing. Unfortunately, many of these treatments are not covered by insurance, even though they are helping me maintain strength, manage side effects, and continue fighting. I am asking for help to cover alternative and integrative cancer treatments, supplements and supportive therapies, travel and treatment-related expenses, and basic living costs while I focus on healing.
Asking for help doesn’t come easily to me. But cancer has taught me that none of us get through life alone—and right now, I need support to keep fighting. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping me in your thoughts and prayers means more than you know. Every act of kindness gives me hope, strength, and more time with my daughter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and for standing with me during the fight of my life. With gratitude, Samantha
