Help Samantha Chavez Overcome Whistleblower Retaliation

My name is Samantha Chavez, mother to two children, and have served 9 honorable years as an active duty military member for our country. I’m from Dallas, Texas. Graduated from Rowlett High School in Rowlett, Texas.

I'm facing whistleblower retaliation for speaking out against sexual harassment and other issues that affected our mission. I was entitled to a $30,000 reenlistment bonus in which was revoked.

I have been forced out at the end of my contract when my intentions have been to stay in the military for 20 years. I have always been an advocate against sexual harassment and behaviors that take away from our Navy’s Core Values.

After reporting disgusting and unsafe behaviors, I was reported anonymously as a terrorist, which led to my leadership take career ending measures while secretly making sure I never could be allowed in the military again. Giving me an RE: Code 4. Instead of 1 as promised, while jokingly telling me I can “just” join the marines like I wanted.

As things are processing and being investigated, I have immediately applied for a Sheriff's office and Police Departments.

I'm raising money to help cover any financial strain on my family, since this chaos occurred right at my PCS period. To include relocation fees, deposits, legal fees and costs, and monthly bills.
