Samantha is the kind of person who never stops moving. Whether she’s working full-time, raising four incredible kids, or supporting those around her with her quick wit and big heart—she shows up. Every single day.

But now, it’s time for us to show up for her.

Recently, Samantha’s health took a frightening turn. Though she has lived with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for years, her symptoms suddenly worsened—extreme fatigue, vision issues, and nerve damage that couldn’t be explained by MS alone.

Two emergency lumbar punctures and multiple labs later, her doctors found abnormally high white blood cell counts in both her blood and spinal fluid. Her team is now urgently testing to rule out leukemia, meningitis, and other serious neurological issues—while continuing to monitor and manage her MS.

She is also scheduled for spinal surgery to relieve a compressed nerve that has been contributing to her pain and mobility issues.

Here’s where the real pressure is hitting:

Samantha and her spouse are both doing everything they can to keep life steady for their four children during this medical crisis. But she has had to take time off work for testing and procedures—and her spouse has also missed work (without paid time off) to care for the kids, manage household needs, and support her through hospital visits.

They are facing:

• Mounting medical expenses

• Loss of income during recovery

• Childcare and transportation needs

• Bills, food, and basic necessities while navigating this storm
