Help Samanta finish her studies

My name is Samanta and I’m an aspiring biologist raising funds for my final year of university starting September 2023.

I grew up in an orphanage in the Latvian countryside. Growing up, I never thought I would have the luxury of finishing high school. I had to pause my education due to chronic kidney disease: I needed dialysis and had to survive all by myself. Things got better in 2018 once I received my kidney transplant - a miraculous second chance at life.

I have always had love and appreciation for nature and learning, so by 2020 I was already graduating high school and started my Bachelor’s in biology in 2021. I’ve been working alongside my degree as a research assistant to support myself financially. However, I have not been able to work as much as I’d planned over the summer due to health complications. Therefore, I can no longer cover the tuition for my final year by myself. Your donation would cover this cost, plus income tax for donations. In case the goal is exceeded, it would contribute towards my living expenses and allow me to focus on my studies and health.
