Support Samaiya’s Family After Altadena Fires

UPDATE- We have immense gratitude for everyone one of you who have come to our aid in this unfortunate and unforeseen time. The out pouring love and support for our family, and witnessing everyone coming together as a community has been so comforting as we navigate each day. We have just been informed that one of the three structures in our five unit complex has survived this devastating fire, which includes our unit and our garage. At this time, although we will not know the status of anything inside we would like to humbly ask for any further donations to be directed to the many other families in Altadena in great need who have also been displaced. We are so grateful for all the donations this far that will assist in helping us rebuild our life going forward as the reality of this crisis remains the same. We are extremely saddened to have to leave the most beautiful magical place we have called our home for the past years. These funds will be used to help us navigate this crisis going forward. We again thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all of the love and support.

As of right now we are still displaced and we will still need to find somewhere else to live as our area is pretty much inhabitable.

Hi my name is Samaiya Feliciano and my family and I have evacuated and unfortunately we think we may have lost our home due to the fires in Altadena. We cherished our Altadena complex so so much and are absolutely devastated. Thankfully we are physically safe, but we believe we’ve lost pretty much everything (besides what we could pack in backpacks) and most likely my late grandmother’s car. We are currently staying at a hotel but will eventually need to relocate and find a place to live. Any donation helps and I am so grateful for anyone who helps us out during this crazy time. We will be using these funds to get back on our feet and find a new place for us, as well as to replace some of our most cherished items. Sending love to all affected by these fires, may we all recover with grace❤️
