Hello! My name is Sama and I attend UC Davis. I am 20 years old and my stomach is paralyzed along with many other medical conditions as a result of this. There is no cure and I depend on nutritional life support (enteral nutrition) to survive. I also depend on other medical care like procedures, surgeries, medications, specialists, skilled nursing, and more.

The nature of my condition and medical care I need to stay alive is extremely expensive. As someone who is mostly bedridden/housebound, I can not work full time. Please consider donating to my cause so that I can continue to receive life saving care, as my insurance does not cover it fully.

I survived prolonged severe-protein calorie malnutrition which has cause irreparable damage to my body including the liver, cardiovascular system, and kidneys. I suffer from debilitating symptoms 24/7 including severe full body pain, severe hypotension, severe fatigue, muscle weakness, muscle spasms, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and more. My feeding tube keeps me alive and I require many medications to manage my symptoms. Gastroparesis has taken nearly everything from me, piece by piece.
