Help Sam with unexpected expenses

Hi on behalf and at the request of our family, we have set this gofund me up for our Dad Sam Serrato . Sunday November 21 2021 my 70 year old father was leaving Viva Maria’s restaurant in Apple valley off hwy 18 when he was approached by 2 African American men. They asked him for money but after telling them he had none to give he lives off his disability they began to beat him right there in the parking lot. They punched and kicked himself the head in the face in the ribs in the back…on anything they could. He was left bruised and bleeding  on the floor. After he was taken to the hospital we found out he had a broken nose, broken ribs, fractured jaw, a spiked heart rate. His nose and cheek are so badly damaged he will be needing reconstructive surgery. 

His name is Samuel and has been a resident of Apple Valley for over 15 years. He is a family man, Willing to do anything for his family. He is the type of person who would give you the sweater off his back if you needed it. We are asking everyone to please please be on the lookout, be safe, and don’t go anywhere alone. Nobody deserves to be treated the way he was treated. He will now be spending his birthday and thanksgiving healing from his injuries. This is extremely heartbreaking and hard on my family please send prayers for his recovery.  Please repost and share to anyone/everyone. And if you are in the high desert please stay safe!
