Hello everyone! My name is Sam and I am a transmasc disabled person living in Boise, ID. I recently visited Portland to explore the city for the chance to escape Idaho, and I felt so at home there. It is becoming increasingly dangerous to live in Idaho and be trans or queer, especially in this political climate and with the passing of HB 270 and HB 264 (two very harmful anti trans legislation that were passed in Idaho this year). Living here with my health conditions is also very hard, and the lack of covid safe community in Boise can be isolating at times. I am seeking a home in Portland and need the help of my beautiful community to help me get me there. Shortly after I move, I will be having top surgery and will get to recover in my new safe space ❤️All funds will go toward the cost of surgery after insurance and recovery funds,as well as first months rent in my new place. Donations of any amount are appreciated!! <3
