Our friend and longtime ER family member is facing one of the hardest battles of her life.
She was recently diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. She is still processing this news and hasn’t shared it widely as she navigates so many unknowns.
What we do know is who she is—an incredibly dedicated friend and selfless person who has spent years being the go-to person as our ER secretary, as well as an amazing friend outside of work. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
As she begins this journey, she is undergoing weekly chemotherapy, and between treatments, medications, and time away from work, the financial burden of medical care can quickly become overwhelming.
Her 17-year-old son, Ayden, is about to reach some major milestones: graduating, going to prom, and preparing for his next chapter into adulthood. We’d love to help ease some of that financial pressure so she can focus on being there for him during this important time.
If you’re able, please consider donating, sharing, or simply sending love and support. Every bit helps remind her that she is not alone and is surrounded by a community that cares deeply for her.
