Help Sam Gipson Restore His Ancestral Home

Meet Sam Gipson. Sam’s family has owned this house and property since 1840.

We met Sam through his neighbors who posted they needed help with some trees we cut the trees out of their driveway and They pointed us to Sam as he needed help.

We got there and Sam said he wanted us to move a pile of debris. The guys got to work and I sat down and started talking to Sam.

Sam told me he didnt have running water and had not showered in 8 days. Jeff looked and seen all he needed was new pipes to connect a natural spring to his house. We went back down the mountain where the roads up the mountain are partially gone to get pipes and tools.

While the boys went back to work Sam showed me these pictures of his land and his family and told me how hard his family worked on his land for generations and now its all gone.

Sam has no family just his dogs. He is almost 70 years old. Our goal is to help Sam get the beautiful green back to in his words “Make my Grandaddy proud”

Some people dont need food or water they need a hand, A friend and an ear. Thats what we are going to be to Sam.
