Help Sam Peterson and His Family
Donation protected
I write this with a very heavy heart and ask humbly for your support. Some of you may know and others may not. My brother-in-law Sam has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. He has undergone treatments and is being seen at the VA hospital. Sam is fighting and remaining strong. However, his journey in dealing with this illness is just beginning. A long road to recovery, treatments, and unforeseen medical costs lie ahead. Sam is very weak from the treatments and not able to work. His wife, Missy, tries to work as much as possible but is the one caring for him. As you can imagine bills are piling up and medical costs are through the roof. For all of you that know Sam you know he would never imagine asking for help. He is always the one giving help. So that is why I am asking. Sam and his family really need some help!
I want to give you a little back ground on Sam. Besides being the most humble, caring and unselfish person I know he is a loving husband and an amazing father. He is the best brother-in-law you could ever have. Never to busy or to tired to talk or hang out. When you need someone he is always there. He is the one that reaches out to check on you and reminds you how important family is. He is so young... only 49 years old. He is a Veteran and served in the US ARMY. He fought in Desert Storm and served 4 years for his Country. You can't meet a more energetic and optimistic human being. He is always the life at family functions and the favorite uncle among all the kids. He battled drug and alcohol addiction and has 18 years sobriety. He mentors youth who are struggling with addiction and always attends meetings. Sam has been through a lot and still walks around with a huge smile on his face.
Our hope is that he can rest and have some comfort while going through the treatments and not stress so much on the funds they are needing. All donations will be used to cover medical and living expenses until he can get back on his feet. Our family appreciates any support you can give. Thank you.
