Help Sam Mills with medical expenses
Donation protected

Hi, my name is Patricia and I’m raising funds for Sam Mills and his current medical expenses.
Sam Mills was living the carefree life of a teenager. However, the day after Christmas in 2020, the 17-year old’s life changed instantly, when he lost control of his car while heading home from work in Texas. His vehicle flipped multiple times and he was ejected approximately 40 feet. When Carrie and her husband arrived at the hospital, Sam was unable to move and on a ventilator to help him breathe. He had suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) with bleeding and swelling on the left side of his brain and fractures on the left side of his face and body. The active teen, who played football and participated in track and other outdoor activities, would spend the next ten days fighting for his life in the ICU. Shortly after his discharge, Sam spent about 3 weeks in the TIRR Memorial Hermann Challenge Program that provides traumatic brain injury survivors with a comprehensive range of rehab services on their roads to recovery. Fast forward to March 21, 2024 Sam disappeared from his home in Beacon Lake in St. Johns County on Wednesday around 5:45 p.m., SJSO said in a Facebook post. Family told deputies they are concerned about Mills due to his traumatic brain injury. Sam was found but then ran away two more times due to his change in medication and brain injury. On March 25th a 2nd Purple Alert was issued (The law requires local law enforcement agencies to report missing adults under 60 with mental or cognitive disabilities to the state law enforcement agency for statewide alerts.) Sam was located on Savannah, Ga and is currently being evaluated and under treatment. He has been in 3 separate hospitals and the medical bills are piling up for the Mills Family. I live in Beacon Lake and would like to help this wonderful family try to raise funds to help them out with Sam’s medical expenses. Thank you for your help.
