Help Sam Lynch Rebuild His Life After Brain Injury
Donation protected
In the early hours of August 8th, everything changed for Sam. What should have been a routine walk home with his girlfriend and two close friends turned into something none of us could have imagined. In an unthinkable act of unprovoked violence, Sam was shot, resulting in severe injuries that led to his current fight for survival in an ICU unit where he is fighting for his life.
Sam is more than just a victim, a man in his 30s; he is a beloved son, a loyal brother, and a cherished friend. He has always been there for those he cares about, offering support, laughter, and kindness. Now, as he faces the monumental challenge of recovering from a severe brain injury, so many people are asking how they can help as they stand by him.
Sam’s journey to recovery will be lifelong and arduous. He is in critical condition in ICU; each day brings its own set of challenges, and while his medical team is working diligently to stabilize him, this is only the beginning. Once he is in a stable condition, the real work begins: years of intensive rehabilitation and constant ongoing care..
The reality is that the costs associated with Sam’s recovery are overwhelming. His family is determined to give him the best possible help, so we are reaching out to our communities – the friends and loved ones who know Sam, as well as those who may be moved by his story.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards Sam’s medical expenses and rehabilitation programs. If you’re unable to contribute financially, you can still help by sharing Sam’s story. Awareness is crucial in rallying support, and our voice can make a tremendous impact.
Thank you for holding Sam and all of those affected that night in your hearts. Your love, kindness and support mean more than words can express as we help him through the most difficult fight of his life.
