Last night, our hearts broke again.

My 14-year-old niece, Courtney, passed away and joined her sister, Lily, who we lost just three months ago. Both girls bravely battled lifelong, debilitating medical conditions that required constant care, long hospital stays, and immense strength from their family.

Throughout it all, my sister-in-law Jessica remained home to care for the girls full-time, while my brother Sam worked tirelessly to support them financially. But the past few months have taken an unimaginable toll—emotionally, physically, and financially. Sam has exhausted all of his PTO and their savings were already spent during Lily’s final weeks and memorial services.

Now, faced with another devastating loss, they need time to grieve without the added burden of financial stress. We are asking for help to cover the cost of Courtney’s cremation and associated expenses, allowing Sam and Jessica a small bit of peace during this incredibly painful time.
