My Brother, Sister in Law and nephew (Sam, Jess and Quinn) were tragically affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California. This is what is left of the home they started renting just 6 months ago in Altadena on Mariposa. The fire moved so quickly there was little warning and no first responder presence to aid in evacuations or try to save homes. Sam stayed as long as he could to try with a couple of garden hoses, but it was clearly no match for a fire of this magnitude. Thankfully they are safe and unharmed and staying with family.

With a baby due in less than two weeks, we want to help them get back on their feet and into a home as soon as possible, and are unsure of how long it will take to process any renters insurance claims. They lost 90% of everything they owned inside the house, including items recently gifted to them from their baby shower in early December, and a brand new bed.

This fund will go towards replacing all the necessities like clothing and toiletries, furniture, and towards any deposit (s) needed on a new place to live. If you are able, any little bit helps. Thank you!
