Hi, I’m Hannah, a good friend of Sam’s.

We’ve been friends for over five years—we met waitressing, had kids around the same time, and now our kids (ages 5 and 6) are basically best friends.

Recently, Sam broke her arm and had to have emergency surgery. She won’t be able to work for a while, and although she’s applied for disability, she was told it could take at least six weeks to process. She’s got one more paycheck coming, and then that’s it for income until the benefits start.

In the meantime, she still needs to cover groceries, bills, and transportation to follow-up appointments at the hospital. I’m putting this out there because even a little support could help ease the stress while she heals and waits for things to kick in.
