Hi, my name is Sam and for as long as I can remember I have hated my chest. As a trans man I have always hoped to get top surgery and it has been my number one priority for the past five years. A lot of trans men say their top surgery is needed, and while I'm honestly hesitant to say that, it will also improve my quality of life drastically. No more need to bind or tape my chest and then have it be itchy, tear at my skin, and leave scars.

Why I'm raising money: My insurance in California doesn't see top surgery as a necessary procedure and therefore puts up a lot of hurdles. I also don't find the support I need in my parents to help me get over these hurdles. Because of these barriers I am taking it into my own hands and making this fundraiser while also doing commissions!
