On January 2, 2026 a fire tore through downtown Arcata, destroying all of Sam's belongings, and taking the lives of his two cats Jeff and Sophie. This is a devastating loss for Sam, who now has to start over with nothing. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated, and will help Sam replace some of the things he has lost and get him back on his feet again.
