My son Sam recently was diagnosed with Stage 2 Lymphoma. He is 27 years old and has 2 months until he graduates from the University of Kansas. Although he was currently living in Lenexa Kansas, when he had an initial diagnosis, we brought him directly to Houston to go to M.D. Anderson for a full work up and a treatment plan. He is still enrolled in KU and is doing his homework remotely to finish school and will be doing treatments here in Texas.

Sam is an avid dog lover. He has an Australian Shepherd and her name is Freya. She and his 2 cats, Sparticus and Macy keep the house very busy here.

Sam will not be working through his treatments. All donations will help cover Health Care costs including Insurance and deductables and any out of pocket drugs and medications. He will also need assistance with day to day living expenses including household upkeep and utilities.
