Sam is facing an incredibly challenging time. They have been my friend since 2004, and throughout the years, Sam has shown themselves to be a phenomenal human: loyal, brilliant, witty, and full of love for everyone around them. Despite their own struggles, Sam has always been the kind of person who would do anything for anyone if they could. Now, Sam needs help from their community.

Currently, Sam is precariously housed with mentally ill parents and is in the hospital with their newborn. On top of that, Sam cares for numerous animals who are like their children. The situation has become overwhelming, and Sam needs support to get through this difficult period. The funds raised will go directly toward a rental car, which will help Sam transport everyone and everything, including getting to important medical appointments for both parent and baby. Additionally, the money will help secure a motel room, providing a safe place for Sam and their family to heal and regroup.

I am reaching out because I know how much Sam means to so many people. Sam is multiply-neurodivergent, so resilient, and they have touched countless lives with their kindness and generosity.
