This isn’t easy for me. I’ve never been someone who’s comfortable asking for anything. But life has a way of knocking you down hard, and lately, I’ve been hit harder than ever.

Over the past few months, I’ve been diagnosed with both heart failure on the left and right side of my heart and cancer. The medical reality of that is terrifying enough, but I’m also facing it without health insurance. That means every emergency room visit, hospital stay, test, scan, and specialist appointment is entirely out of pocket. No safety net. No backup.

I’ve already accumulated over $20,000 in medical bills, and now I’m facing the added cost of traveling downstate to Ann Arbor for ongoing cancer treatment and specialist care. The financial strain is overwhelming. I’m trying to stay strong, to stay focused on getting better, but I need help. And everyone keeps telling me to start a GoFundMe... so I am.

I’m hoping to raise $20,000 to cover current and future medical expenses, including hospital bills, travel and lodging for appointments, and ongoing treatment needs. Every single dollar will go directly toward helping me stay alive and get the care I need.
