Help Sam Brown Make Beautiful Memories With Her Children

Hi, my name is Michelle Lowdon and I’m fundraising for my amazing friend Sam Brown, a 37-year-old single mum of three.

On March 29, 2024, Sam was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma that had already spread to seven places, including her brain. She responded well to targeted therapy (dab and tram), and for a while things looked stable.

But in January 2025, she needed laser brain treatment (SRS), which sadly stopped working. Just 5 weeks ago, Sam bravely underwent brain surgery. Now we’ve had the devastating news that the tumour has grown back rapidly and aggressively. There are no more treatment options left.

We are raising funds to give Sam time, dignity, and beautiful memories with her children. We want to support her through her final chapter, and make her 38th birthday on June 16th as special as possible.

She is also a massive Newcastle United fan and adores Alexander Isak — black and white runs in her blood.
