Hi my name is Sam, I'm 23, and I need help avoiding homelessness. Earlier this month, I was suddenly let go from my job and was left with very little income. I've been searching for a replacement job every day, looking for ANYTHING, and unfortunately, I still haven't found one. As it currently stands, I do not have the funds to afford my rent by early January. I've exhausted all resources and as a domestic violence survivor, I have no family or friends to go to. I would love to not have to spend the winter months without a home. 100% of funds will be used to pay for rent and utilities to keep my housed for another month. Anything helps! Thank you.

A little about me: In early 2024, I was faced with severe abuse at the hands of my family and after 21 years of abuse I decided to escape across the country to start a new life with what very little I had. I left behind my belongings, my job, my schooling, my cats, just to be free. It was the worst heartbreak I had ever felt and I'm still healing today. With my small savings and benefits I received, I was able to barely survive and remain housed. It was a scary time for me, but I made it through which felt like a mighty success story at the time. But now, I find myself in a similar position without any savings nor benefits. Every day I fight the pain of my CPTSD to keep going even in the darkest times like now.
