Hi, I’m reaching out for your support for my father, Sam Austin, who has been a trusted appliance repairman in Hornell for over 30 years. He is known for his honesty, hard work, and kindness to everyone he meets.

In August, Sam was diagnosed with bladder and Lung cancer, and he is scheduled for surgery at the end of January to remove both his bladder and prostate. His recovery will take 6 to 8 weeks, during which time he’ll be unable to work. During this period, his wife, Barb, will also be taking time off from work to care for him and assist with his recovery.

Sam is a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Sam has spent his life supporting his family and the community, and now we hope to offer him the same love and support. The medical bills and living expenses are quickly adding up, and any help—no matter how small—would go a long way in easing the financial strain during this challenging time.
