We need your help! Sam and Misty Jarrett's son was shot at the Tullahoma Mall Thursday pm June 4. Dakota was life-flighted to Erlanger in Chattanooga where he underwent emergency surgery.
Misty and Sam are unable to see him but have spoken with him on the phone. From Sam: "He is stable in icu they had to remove part of his colon. And his kidney is damaged his spleen got nicked by the bullet. Not sure that they are going to have to remove one of his kidneys. Right now its touch n go and we can't go in and see him. This is beyond the hardest thing. Not only should no one have to deal with it. This is the hardest thing any parent has to deal with it."
They have had to find a place to stay during this ordeal in Chattanooga and both of them are missing work. Sam and Misty are HUGE supporters of the Hwy 41 Toy Convoy and have helped thousands of kids over the years.
Sam wouldn't ask you for a dime, but I'm asking for you to dig deep in your pockets and donate what you can. There are so many expenses going on right now.
Please donate what you can as soon as possible as this was totally unexpected and no
one is prepared to fork out for a room and meals, plus Dakota's medical expenses, why you are waiting for you to be able to get into ICU and see your boy.
Every dollar will be greatly appreciated!
