Help Salvadorian School

Hey guys!

A little background as to why I’ve started this go fund me. I’ve recently come back from my trip to El Salvador (where both my parents are from) and I’ve always felt the need to give back to the community my family grew up in.

As I was there my cousin Emely and I started small and donated a 30+ notebooks, pencils, crayons, sharpeners, etc to the school. While being there I noticed they needed so much more than what I was able to offer in that moment.

Walking around the school I noticed they had no library, half their computers in their lab weren’t working, and their cafeteria barely had enough tables to seat the school population. School lunch is not free, making it hard for kids to stay focused in classes if they aren’t able to afford it. We in America take so much for granted and complain as to why we don’t have enough resources in our schools, when these children are content and or grateful with the bare minimum that they have.

These kids are smart and hardworking! They find joy in the arts and agriculture, and wish for more opportunity like all of us do. These kids will give you their last pencil even if they don’t have enough money to buy another one. By far the most humblest of people I’ve come across.. They deserve so much more. So let’s give them that chance.

It would make me and most importantly the children of Santiago so happy if we’d make their learning environment a step better. Help me, help these kids prosper and create a better future for El Salvador.
