Help Salty Sistas pay for food truck damages.

Donation protected

On 27 June 2021, "Salty Sistas Food Truck and Eatery" participated in a local Pride Festival in Jacksonville, North Carolina to promote unity and celebrate the "coming out" of their teenage son. While serving over 900 individuals, Salty Sistas showed love not only through their food but through their acceptance and unity.

After participating in this Pride festival, some members of the local community turned their backs on the eatery and others took it even further. The owner's personal vehicle tires were slashed, followed by the food truck's tires being slashed, and then the owner's son's vehicle tires were slashed. The air unit on the food truck was cut, while the generators were disconnected. These hatred actions have caused the food truck and eatery personal expenses and even more mental damage to their family. While joining together to celebrate and give back to the community, Salty Sistas were attacked and humiliated.

Please join us in welcoming the Salty Sistas family into our own, and more importantly surrounding them with the same LOVE they surrounded our community with during Pride. All donations are greatly appreciated and welcomed. We thank you so much for your continued support!
