I’m Zoe the owner of Salty Paws SVG Inc. on Union Island, St.Vincent and the Grenadines (Caribbean).

We are urgently trying to raise funds to purchase a gas anesthesia machine for our spay and neuter clinics on Union Island.

Spaying and neutering is one of the most important things we can do to reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned and suffering animals on our small island. We are committed to continuing to provide these clinics to the community, but we also want to make them as safe as possible for every animal in our care. Anesthesia drugs are very hard to get and not the safest option.

A gas anesthesia machine would allow our visiting vets to use a safer and more controlled method of anesthesia during surgery, giving our animals the standard of care they deserve.

As a small animal rescue and charity operating on Union Island, equipment like this is a significant expense, and we simply cannot do it alone.

We at Salty Paws would be incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter how small, towards helping us purchase this much-needed machine. Every contribution brings us one step closer to safer spay and neuter clinics and helps us continue tackling animal overpopulation on the island.

The donations will also cover the shipping and duties from the USA. Costs of a table top gas anesthesia set up can cost between 4000-7000 USD before shipping. If we are fortunate enough to raise more than the cost of the machine, every additional dollar will continue to go directly towards helping the animals of Union Island — including veterinary care, spay and neuter clinics, food, medication and supplies.
