Help Salma Yahya's family evacuate Gaza safely

My name is Salma Yahyah, and I'm a mother of three beautiful children - two handsome boys and a lovely daughter. We live in RAFAH southern Gaza, a place where life has become a daily struggle for survival. I graduated with a degree in Primary Education from Al-Azhar University, and my late husband and I worked hard to provide for our family. However, the ongoing war has turned our lives upside down.
For over 315 days, Gaza has been engulfed in a relentless war, and my family and I have been living in a constant state of fear, uncertainty, and deprivation. The war has devastated our lives, taking away our livelihood and turning our home into a place of despair. A neighboring house was targeted, causing severe damage to our own home, leaving it barely habitable.
As a result, we're struggling to access basic necessities like water, food, safety, and healthcare. My children are not just suffering from physical deprivation, but from the mental and emotional scars of living in a war zone. There's no education, no healthcare, and most devastatingly, no hope for the future if we remain here.
After much thought and consideration, I've made the difficult decision to seek a way out for my family. I believe that the only way to secure a safe and prosperous future for my children is to leave Gaza and start anew. However, doing so requires resources that I cannot gather on my own.
That's why I'm reaching out for help. We need $22,000 to cover the costs of leaving Gaza and establishing ourselves in a safer country where we can rebuild our lives. The breakdown of our needs is as follows:
- $12,000 to cover the expenses of leaving Gaza, including transportation and documentation fees
- $9,500 for initial housing and living expenses abroad
- $500 for transaction fees
Your donation will give my children a chance to grow up in a safe environment, attend school, and have a future free from the horrors of war. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to a life of safety and hope.
I understand that leaving Gaza is not an easy decision. It means saying goodbye to the place we've always called home and the people we love. But it's a decision driven by a mother's love and determination to protect her children from a life of fear and deprivation.
By supporting this campaign, you're not just helping one family; you're making a stand for peace, dignity, and the right to live without fear. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness, generosity, and compassion mean the world to us. With your help, we can escape the darkness of war and step into the light of a brighter future
