Hi, my name is Salma Maodzwa and I’m an international student studying nursing in Canada.

My dad has been supporting me and paying for my tuition since I came to Canada to pursue my education. Unfortunately, he was recently affected by the war and the financial difficulties that came with it, which made it very difficult for him to save and send my tuition on time.

I have already paid a portion of my tuition but I still have a remaining balance that I need to pay. If I’m unable to pay it on time, I may be removed from my Winter semester classes, which could seriously affect my studies.

Studying nursing in Canada has been a dream of mine for a long time. Coming here and being able to pursue this dream means so much to me, and I really want to continue my education.

I know that not everyone is in a position to donate and I completely understand. If you are able to help, any amount would mean so much to me. Even sharing this fundraiser with someone else would be a huge help.
