Help Sally rebuild her life. (Victim of Torture)
Donation protected
In the afternoon of Monday 12th August 2024 in Benalla, Victora, my 29 year old daughter Sally-Anne was tortured in her home by a couple that she was kindly letting stay at her place.
She has known these people for a while and they were frequently visiting or staying at her unit in Benalla off and on over the past year or so.
That Monday afternoon she was attacked and tortured by both of them which led her to being rushed to Wangaratta airfield and flown by helicopter to The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
Sally has suffered multiple injuries which are 7 fractures to her ribs and 4 fractures to her upper spine area (from being kicked), a fracture just above her right temple and her face swollen with 2 black and bloodshot eyes (from her head being put through her bedroom wall and through to the other side), she also had marks and swelling on her neck (from being strangled) and she has burns to the back of her head, neck, arms, hands and chest (from having boiling water tipped over her), she said they had her trapped in her bedroom and when they both went into the kitchen (and were boiling the kettle for the 3rd time) she managed to escape out of her bedroom window and get to a neighbours for help. With the injuries she had already sustained, survival instinct kicked in and she knew it was her only chance to get out of there. I am so proud of her for pushing through excruciating pain which has more than likely saved her life.
Sally has had to have skin grafts in which they used her own skin from her thigh and will now be scarred for life in many places and will most likely need to acquire a wig. She is so traumatised from it all and does not want to return to her home. She has along road of recovery ahead of her.
The two that did this to her (a male and a female) are currently being held at a remand centre awaiting court early November. May these two maggots get what they deserve and rot for a long time in jail. Sally certainly has to live with this now for the rest of her life.
In October of 2021 Sally was also attacked out the front of her house by a couple of random guys walking past with a baseball bat. She was hit in the head and woke up on the side of the road with her teeth smashed, a fracture to her cheek and a broken finger. She started having seizures after this incident and still suffers from them today.
Here's how you can help Sally:
1. **Donate:** Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated. Even small donations add up and make a significant difference.
2. **Share:** Please share with your friends, family and social networks to spread the word and increase our reach.
3. ** Encourage:** Your words of encouragement and support are invaluable. Let Sally know you're thinking of her and cheering her on during her recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Sally's situation and for considering a donation.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Wendy.
" To my beautiful daughter Sally-Anne, may you find the strength to get through this so that one day you are able to relight your Sparkle."
