Help Sally Rebuild After a House Fire | 胡姐妹重建家园

Sally is a brave, loving mother. Years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer in China during the pandemic, when the care she needed was hard to access. Two years ago she came to Houston with faith and hope. A later check-up showed spreading, but she didn’t give up; through prayer, discipline, and treatment she made it through. She is now in remission and continues regular checkups and medication.

莎莉是一位勇敢又充满爱心的母亲。几年前，她在中国被诊断患癌，因疫情难以获得治疗。两年前她带着信心和希望来到休斯敦开始新生活。后来复查显示有转移，但她没有放弃；通过祈祷、自律和治疗，她挺了过来。如今已进入缓解期，仍需定期复查和用药。

Sally continues to serve others in simple, consistent ways, helping with church activities and bringing meals when someone needs a hand. Her smile and music lift those around her.

Recently, while she was dropping her son at an event, a lawnmower battery charging indoors exploded and started a fire in her home. Firefighters arrived quickly, but the damage is severe with more than $50,000 in smoke, fire, and water damage. The house isn’t livable. There was no homeowners insurance on the home, so repairs and replacements must be paid out of pocket.
